This plant is showing up on the east shore of Glenmore reservoir in Calgary. I have spent many hours walking this shore and never seen this plant before. This year there are thousands of them and they are near enough to the waters edge that it leads me to believe seed may have been carried in by water. They are small plants in the picture at the bottom is my index finger pointing at the plant. This reservoir is Calgary's drinking water so I am concerned no new invasive plants get a grip on that region as I would report to the city.

    Thanks,

    Skip Crockett

Could you add some photos of one in which the flowers are open, and a side shot?

Looks like Galeopsis to me. We really need side shot.
