Please ID this Plant

    This leafy plant has not flowered at all this summer. I have no idea what it is and how big it might get. (I moved into a new house this spring and so am trying to figure out what I have in the yard and what I should do before winter.)

    yes, it's a hydrangea. don't prune it back - it's most likely a type that blooms on last years growth.

    Flower buds may be freezing off during winter.
