Please ID this plant for me?

    I just bought a new house, and under the big pretty oak tree are these strange plants.

    They are tough (as in when you go to break them), have strange green berries that look similar to a tiny tomato growing. There are tiny very thin thorns on the lower parts of the stem.

    We're in a drought, so the leaves appear to be dry and withered to an extent.

    I have goats and this plant concerns me, as I fear it might be toxic. I have been unable to find this plant via Google. I live in Bedias, Texas.

    Thank you so much! It figures that its a toxic plant that's really hard to remove. But at least now I know and can take measures against it.

    Yes that looks very similar as well. Looks like I'll be trying to figure out a way to get rid of it. I sure hope it isn't ALL over the pasture, so far I've only found it under the tree. Thank you again for the ID
