I have had this a long time. I know its a common type, but I'd like a definitive hybrid name to go on it if anyone can supply one. Its getting ready to go into a 20 gal container.

This one looks a lot like a potful I have; they are unnamed Bob McColley hybrids, of which a very good number went out into the market. I had the opportunity to work at McColley's nursery for a while, and the nature of most McColley hybrids is that the parentage is indeterminable, as the hybridization they did was more of the "oh, well, there's some more pollen, let's just smear it on whatever happens to be receptive" rather than, here is a Philo. sp. A ... with pollen, let's make a label and cross it with Philo. sp . B... , which is receptive, and see what we get. Make sense?

I love anything red in the garden, I have a craving for that colour. It just looks so tropical with the green. Does anyone know if we can get this hybrid in Australia?

Never seen that cultivar around Ed . For a similar effect try Anthurium Red Beauty , or Philo. Pink Princess .

I almost certain that there are a few nurseries in Australia where you can buy it.
But I might be able to give you a precise nursery name so please be patient.
