We brought a Ivy from my aunts estate cleanout but have no idea whether its an ivy or not.
The shrub is part of a line of shrubs in my yard. I have sprayed them twice and they appear to do well for a few days after spraying but continue to relapse. I have pulled two no gos already.

The one on the right is a Chinese Holly. Find out what is wrong with it before undertaking a treatment. Your local Cooperative Extension office may be able to tell you what to do.

Not sure what pic #1 is, maybe a legume of some sort; definitely not an ivy though.

Vine may be Amphicarpaea bracteata (American hogpeanut).
Chinese Holly, I. cornuta 'Burfordii' and similar may be suffering
heat/sun /moisture stress in our current drought.

I checked the Extension Service of Bexar county. I believe the disease on the shrub is cotton root rot. The roots are rotted and have white strands and webbed globs throughout.
I checked out some pics of American Hogpeanut and I thought that the leaves were a perfect match. My wife tells me the blossom looks more like a Climbing Shell Vine from a picture in House of Wesley.
    Thanks again for primary info.
