I would just like to know the name of this plant please. I looked for it on the net and came up with Pulmonaria saccharata VH "Highdown" . Is this correct? The photo wasn' t all that clear, that's why I am asking others. Thank you !

I'd agree with Pulmonaria but wouldn't like to say beyond that

Thank you Michael. Guess I'll see what others have to say. I did another search without satisfactory results.

There are a lot of similar cultivars so you may never know for sure, especially as the cultivar may die off but leave you with seedlings that are actually something else. The key thing to watch, besides the pattern on the leaves and the vigour of the plant, is the colour of the flowers. Some just bloom one colour (blue or pink) while others begin one colour and morph into the other. Can't recall if it's blue to pink or vice versa. Yours actually reminds me of a cultivar called Dora Bielefeld, which blooms pink only.

That's great info Karin. I will watch the flowers then. Someone gave me a piece of their plant and didn't know what it was. And I always like to know. So thank you for that. P.
