Please help with some Plant Indentifications

    Hello from the Small town of Carthage Texas :) My wife and I paid for our first home we got moved in and this place is so wounderful it was well taken care of the landscape is great BUT ,,,,YOU know were I am headed :) I am new to all of this and I have a few pics of some plants around our house and some that just bloomed up I really need some help I am new to all of this but I really want to take over and really learn thanks so much. I also have some more pics of other plants,,,and if you need me to I can take more pics if needed. thx for all the help.

    The erect shrub with the white flowers looks like Nerium oleander (Oleander). Note: very poisonous!

    The plant in the shallow pot is a Hydrangea macrophylla (Garden Hydrangea).

    The plant below the red-and-blue object is Hedera helix (Common Ivy).

    The plant with the spread-hand-like leaves at the far left of the pic with the metal vent is Fatsia japonica.

    Thanks Micheal I looked them up after you gave me the names and learned a little more. You don't know enything about the other flowers and shrubs that I showed? I also have other pics of plants that I need to post. Thanks so much for your time.
