Hi, again. I've been away from the mandala project for a while and am now at it again. Here are a few flowers I don't know the names of, as well as the images I'm creating from them. Would appreciate flower i.d.'s for the original flowers.

    Thanks, as always --

What beautiful pictures! How are you creating the images? They are way too cool.

The one in the second row is the pink-flowered strawberry, Fragaria 'Pink Panda'

The third pic -- the orange one is California poppy (Eschscholzia californica)
and first one looks like a Chrysanthemum but I can't tell you anything more on it...

Beautiful mandalas! I can only add that the 1st one is a type of Spoon Chrysanthemum.

Thanks for your help. Still interested in comments on any of the mandalas. I've not been good about keeping up with them on this site, but my blog is current:

    http://flowermandalas.blogspot.com

I'm particularly interested in knowing whether any particular mandala evokes a specific feeling, as that's the basis on which I'll choose quotations to go with them when I put my book together. So, for instance, a mandala of a dandelion head reminds me of death, and I'll find a quote to contemplate on death; a dahlia hybrid reminds me of joy, and I'll find a quote for joy. Etc.

    More anon,
    David
