Have an old dogwood that has either a disease or a fungus and desperately need help in treating or managing this problem. Here are the main details:

    1. Leaves are spotted and ends are browning.
    2. Bark is split in several places.
    3. There is a green 'mold' like substance on bark in some areas.
    4. The new saplings are yellowing.
    5. There are a couple of young branches that have died.
    6. There is some huge, ugly 'thing' growing at the base of the tree in 2/3 places.

I have many more photos but can only post so many. Can someone please tell me what to do or point me to another website/individual who can help?

    Thanks so much.
