Please help what is this plant

    The pics here are of a plant I like that I have no idea what it is. Just came up one day. Grows to 7-8ft tall, small white flowers in the winter the dies back. I have been cutting it to the ground around feb each year and it keeps coming back. Very like care or water needed. Location Dallas, TX

    For sure its not the Conyza dog fennel is a good possibility.

    Dog fennel has a distinct odor when crushed, which I find unpleasant.
