Identification: Please help us identify this cactus or succulent

    If anyone can help in identifying this cactus, it would be much appreciated. When we received it, it was merely 8 inches tall and grew to over 17 feet (it is the tall skinny cactus on the left we are looking to identify). It gets buds on it that look like berries but sort of "flower". We have tried to identify it several times, but we can never find any that have these sort of leaves on them.
    Thanks for any help you may have to offer.

    Looks like a kind of Euphorbia

    Looks rather like Euphorbia neriifolia. Word files (.doc) are not a good format for posting pictures, as their file size is very large in relation to resolution obtainable. Best to stick with JPEGs, which can be resized and/or compressed to an appropriate size file.
