Please help to identify

    Found on the 1st January 2006, growing between 450 metres and 500 metres in Andalucia, Spain. White funnel shaped flower with six petalled collar. White stamen, yellow anther. Single flower on each stem about 8cm high. Leaves grass like about 8cms. No dea what it is. Photo available if anybody wants to see more.
    One of my hobbies is photographing plants for the magazine I edit. I have a number of Andalucian plants currently unidentified. If anybody can help me with this please email me.

    This one sounds a bit like some sort of Narcissus

    For interested parties the plant has now been identified.
    White hoop petticoat daffodil – Narcissus cantabricus
    Found flowering between the 450 and 500 metres contour lines on the north west facing slope of Monte Mayor, Andalucia on the 1st January was this Narcissus cantabricus. Only 8 or 10 cm high with delicate white trumpet shaped flowers and a ‘collar’ of six petals. Native to Southern Spain, Algeria and Morroco. Picture attached.
