I encountered this rather unique looking plant in the local nature reserve. Attached are five pictures I took of the various parts of this plant, hopefully containing sufficient features for a species ID. Each leaf is about 7cm long.

    Thanks in advance.

Interesting plant, and very good photos for diagnosis. Sorry, I don't know what it is though (just wishing I knew more about tropical plants!). Maybe take the photos to Singapore Botanical Gardens?

Thanks, Michael for replying. I will try other avenues including SBG. Thanks again.

It kind of looks like a wild cherry, but in Singapore?, I can not say for sure

The fruits are small, thinly freshed and have a cherry-like appearance. Anyway after a few days of looking up various references, I think the species ID is Eurya acuminata (Theaceae). More online info on this species can be found at this site.
