This is a guess from a cursory google search but possibly a Koelreuteria species common name Chinese Flame Tree or Chinese Rain Tree, either K. bipinnata or K. paniculata?? If so has Chinese lantern type fruit late in the year? K. bipinnata has twice pinnate leaf while K. paniculata has just the single pinnate leaf.

Not sure what it is, but it isn't Koelreuteria

Found it. wrygrass is really good - he was in the right family, the Sapindaceae.

This is Cupaniopsis anacardioides or "tuckeroo" / carrotwood, native to Australia's east coast. In Florida, it has proven to be invasive.

Read the Plant Conservation Alliance's factsheet on Cupaniopsis anacardioides for more info.

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the link above. Also thanks for the complement, but I think in my case it's more luck than skill.
