I think this is another Chamaecyparis of some description, it has had the top blown out from the looks of it and the surrounding branches have turned up. Sorry the photography isnt up to much, I will get some better pictures if it will help. The undersides of the leaves have a whitening around the base of the leaves, and little black (cracked with white?, it so small I cant really see) buds at the ends of some of the shoots.
Consensus, excellent, thanks :) Thuja did cross my mind, to my untrained eye the foliages look very similar.

chamaecyparis and thuja have a very distinct and different smell......sniff for a confirmation. however, given the fact both ron and michael say its a chamaecyparis, i would be inclined to go with that ;)
