Am I interpreting the image correctly?
It appears to be paired leaflets attach to a rhachis
similar to Macfadyena unguis-cati (sans tendril)?

Hoya would not be my guess either.

I research the suggested names but it's not the same. This plant has white flowers, and the seeds are black when it's ripe. It also has a tangy taste when macerated. Here are more pictures below. I asked my niece to take a picture of the flowers and seeds when she see one, but it would probably take a while for her to do that as she has to go to the mountains to take a picture and it is their exam week.

Thanks everyone for helping us identify this plant.

Thanks for the response. Is kadsura Philippenensis a type of vine plant or a tree? The plant in the picture that my niece wants to do for a project is kind of like a wild vine. I was also informed that this flowers in the summer time and the colour of the flower is not white it is purplish.
