Please help me identify these!

    Please help me identify these! I am afraid they are weeds.

    Clerodendron bungei
    Sambucus, maybe S. ebulis

    Working from hazy memory, I believe the Clerodendron does sucker. And so it could become weedy. Control with a shovel-pruning, or plant in a restricted area... if you like it that is. Should be nice and fragrant.

    Sambucus is a rangy shrub, usually needs at least annual pruning. Could also see how that would feel like a weed!

    Sambucus ebulus is herbaceous (not a shrub), though I'm not convinced this plant is that species.

    I'd agree with the genus though; number two is definitely Sambucus of some sort.

    Yep. Probably something in the Sambucus nigra group.
