My husband bought this plant 3 years ago and he says it had a lot more foliage then and now it barely grows any new leaves. I have kept it on the balcony/porch area, so it gets direct sunlight most of the time..
I just saw tiny little leaves shooting from the bottom, so I want to make sure they grow properly and don't die. But I dunno what it is, so I have no idea how to go about it.

The husband decided that "the plant that lived" is a good name because it has survived through three years, without being taken care of at all :\

    Please help!!

PS: I forgot to mention - it has bulb-y things at the roots, they look sort of like cardamon pods, dunno if you can see it in the picture :\

Looks like Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri', Asparagus Fern.
Note: This is not a fern in spite of its name .
