I bought this beautiful plant, but I don't know what it is or the best way to care for it.

It has palmately compound leaves, with 7 to 10 leaflets.

I purchased it in a Japanese nursery in Los Angeles.
I'd love to give this plant the proper care it needs - please help me discover what it is!

    Thanks,
    Nathan

    Thanks, Barb!

Form a little Google Image search, I think I'm dealing with either Schefflera Gold Capella or Shefflera Arboricola Compacta.

Glad I could help. Just google Schefflera and you can get all sorts of info. Tho I managed to kill the one I had while living in Santa Cruz, they are supposed to be pretty easy to grow. barb
