Please help me ID this dying plant [palm?] so that I can fix it!

    Here are some pictures of a plant I've had for a little over a year that has been dying since I purchased it. I've also included pictures of the trouble areas so you can see what I'm battling.

    First off, I'm not sure it's a palm [I'm rather new at this whole plant thing], but process of elimination is telling me it is. I'd like to find out the name, so that I can save it.


    Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated! =)

    Look under Neanthe bella . Might be something like low humidity or mineral salts.
