This plant was photographed summer 2006. It appears to have opposite leaves but geranium looking five petal flower. Any help will be appreciated. Thank-you.

Sorry, I had 2 plants posted and I thought the other was Veronica, not this one. This one doesn't have any showy bracts at all. I would never have guessed Veronica for this one with this type of flower. Thank-you very, very much.
