I transplanted my tomatoes and cucumbers. I hardened them off, but not as long as I should have.

Now some leaves turn white (that happened in one day: I noticed the discoloration) and become thin. It's been quite hot in my greenhouse this weekend.

I haven't noticed any insects or other damage. . Is there a solution? What can I do now to save the plants? Can it be transplant shock or just heat or sun? Please help!!!

I also noticed some little black bugs, I didn't see them eating my plants but was just wondering if they might cause the problem...

Did it happen during our recent three day heat wave? If so, I think the white spots may be sun scald.

Yes, it did. I just transplanted them on Friday!

Will they recover or is it fatal?

I think the plants will be fine with normal care. Good luck. My tomato plants are still inside, still waiting to be hardened then set out when the nights stay above 10C. I'm late this year, just like the weather.
