Can anyone help me identify this strange hanging plant that I saw recently? It was hanging in full sun in a library and the librarian had no idea what it was....please help.

Nevermind....I found it on my own. It's Sedum morganianum or "Burro's tail" and is native to Mexico. thanks anyway :)

Wow! You're fast. Yes, it is burro's tail. Often the little succulent leaves drop off or break off. When found under the plant, it is easy to root new plants from these.

You can also take several 5"-7" stem cuttings for a small pot and make a miniature version of the parent plant, instantly!
