Identification: please help identify

    Hello there! If anyone could kindly tell me what this houseplant is, if they know. I bought it several months ago, and it did not have a tag on it to tell me what it was. It has not changed from the way it looks right now. Please see picture. Thanks in advance!

    Just a shot in the dark, but I would guess it is some kind of Gesneriaceae. Perhaps a close relation of the "lipstick plant" (Gesneriaceae Aeschynanthus).

    Looks like Aeschynanthus (lipstick plant), possibly longicaulis. They have that characteristic leaf marking.

    I feel it is a plant of Asclepia family.
