Identification: Please help identify this...

    I was given some clippings of this indoor plant. There are no leaves or flowers, no smell and it looks almost fake. Its really quite ugly in a cute sort of way - my children like it so we would like to properly identify it. Someone said it looked like crows feet, another thought it belonged in an aquarium. Help, please....

    Locks like Euphorbia tirucalli "Pencil cactus". Google it and make sure. If it is, you want to take it out of that water and treat it as a cactus cutting. Let me know.

    It looks more like a species of Rhipsalis with cylindrical stems.
