Please help identify this plant

    Colorado, USA
    Found in the plains of Northern Colorado, directly East of the foothills. The darker coloration on the stem is sticky. Does anyone know what it might be? Thanks!!

    With the stems sticky between the nodes but not near the nodes, it might be Silene antirrhina.
