Can you help me indentify this tree I found in Czech republic?

These are parts of the tree I found in someones garden, so it is not a naturally occurring tree in the Czech Republic.

As I said it is tree, leaves are about 30 centimetres long, their stucture on touch is like leaves of Ficus (I mean that plant that have figs). In addition bottom of the leaves is covered with very small Trichomes.

Fruits (I am sorry but I don´t know the correct word) looks like cones, they are about 10 centimetres long and on cut they look like they have seeds laid on some sort of scales.

I am sorry for bad quality of image.

A species of Magnolia, probably Magnolia obovata.

Leaves tapering gradually at both ends and appearance of fruits points to M. tripetala.
