Identification: Please help identify this plant

    Please help me figure out what kind of plant this is and how to keep it from dying (picture attached). It was doing ok for the past two year but the needles recently started turning yellow and we had to cut off an entire branch. In addition, the base seems to be loosening from the pebbles surrounding it (which are firmly glued together).

    How to tell from the small photo but it looks like Cycas revoluta, Sago Palm.
