Identification: Please help identify this houseplant

    I was just gifted this plant...looks like a succulent, but I have no idea what it is or how to care for it. Please help!

    Yep, H. Compacta, also known by the common name, (Hindu Rope) The flowers are pink!
    Make sure you let the soil dry out between waterings and give it 2-4 hrs of direct sun, but do it gradually if it's not used to it.

    thanks for the help!
    it was left out in a few frosts by its previous owner (i live in VT) so i think it will need some babying--but i'm psyched to know what it is/how i should care for it. when/if it blooms it should be beautiful!
