Please help identify this fruit / vegetable

    On a recent trip to a Hong Kong vegetable market this woman was seen cutting this fruit. Anyone have an idea what this is called?

    Actually, it looks more like this. I was curious that your suggestion didn't look like it grew as large and the cross section didn't look the same. Its called a Jackfruit.
