Identification: please help identify...they are not doing well...

    hi all - hope someone out there can help me and tell me what these 2 plants are. they are not doing well and i can't research care till I know what they are!

    The first appears to be Schefflera arboricola, Umbrella Tree.

    The second appears to be Chamaedorea elgans, Parlour Palm. Not sure if it's from the lighting but the speckled look on some leaves suggest damage from spider mites now or in the past. Look for webbing and tiny red specks on the foliage.

    Both plants have healthy new growth on them so the problem may be caused by low humidity or exposure to drafts from a heating vent which would have a drying effect.
