First, let me introduce "Stella". She's the taller of the two. She's pretty common, but we just don't know, so hopefully this will be a first-pitch home run with someone.

The second plant is "mordecai-malachai"; He's the thin-leafed, red-edged plant. Both of these were acquired at home depot, but the plants came with no info, and unfortunately the help at home depot is about as knowledgeable as the plastic container the plants came in.

Hopefully someone can help us. Thanks!

    #1 Dracaena deremensis 'Janet Craig'.
#2 A cultivar, possibly 'Tricolor', of Dracaena marginata, Madagascar Dragon Tree.

Well, the photos are not clear. However the 1st. seems to be Dracaena fragrans or may be aspecies f Cordyline. The 2nd. seems to be Dianella caerulea or Phormium tenax variegatum. Any way boththe plants belong to Liliaceae family.
