please help identify these berries

    We're seeing this in the Fairbanks, Alaska area; what is this plant? berries in Alaska.jpg

    The dark ones are currant, Ribes sp.. (The little red ones in the background are Cornus canadensis.)

    Thank you! We're very familiar with the dogwood, but black currant is a first and they seem to be everywhere this season.
