I have had several offers on the palm trees in my yard, ranging from $1000-$1500 for both trees, but I would like to know what i am selling before I sell them. I will have to sell them because of my daughters high student loans that we can't get deferred even though she isn't working full time.

They appear to be Canary Island Date palms - Phoenix canariensis.

Maybe a Butia? Don't look like Phoenix canariensis to me.
