One of my coworker was trying to help me with the office plants while I was out on vacation and gave one of the plants some miracle grow and not long after it began to die. The plant was in the office when I took it over and none of the present employees knows what it is. Can someone please help?

I think it is 'lucky bamboo' Dracaena sanderana, but it is in REALLY bad shape if it is.

Leaves may be a bit long and pointy for that particular one, but dracaena is certainly the direction to look in.

I think it's 'Lucky Bamboo' too.

Look for pictures of the variegated form to see if it is.

I was at Wal-Mart and they have "lucky bamboo" and it is definately not that. Ron B, what do you mean by the variegated form? Thanks for all of your help.

No, it wouldn't look like the stuff that they would sell. As I said, it is in pretty bad shape and looks like it got very little light. I is most certainly a Dracaena, even if not the "lucky bamboo". Variegation is refering to a plants colouration.
