    Plants always make nice gifts!
    Otherwise known as 'Fire flash' I let mine dry out for a week or so between waterings. Bright indirect light and a little sun will keep the orange color nice and bright!

    Good thing you think its Chlorophytum orchidastrum because thats exactly what it is!!!

    Its a vast improvement over the common spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum) and one of many more species in the genus worthy of cultivation, including some really choice miniatures.

    The fruit of Chlorophytum are dry capsules not berries.
