    hello,

i bought two plants today but unfortunately they came with no label. i'd really like to take care of them properly so if you can, please help me figure out what they are. :)

what i know about them is that they were sitting in quite a moist environment (the soil was humid and the lower plate full of water), they have roots (not bulbs - sorry if the terminology is unapropriate...) and they look like the attached pictures.

i've named them "1" and "2" so they are easier to be refered to.

    thanks!
    mireille.

The peperomia's species is, I think, 'obtusifolia'...so Peperomia obtusifolia 'variegata' is it's complete name, IMHO.
