Identification: please help id this plant

    Now that its spring, its flowering. The parts that produce the flowers look corn-husk like. Thanks!

    Thanks! I keep this plant in the window but all my windows face east so more light is not possible. How can you tell it needs more light?

    Leggy.

    You can put flowering house plants under artificial lights to improve results. Flowering house plants need more light than foliage house plants.
