    Hey,
This is my first post. I would like help with the ID of this evergreen (in Florida) vine.
It is in bloom now and is very fragrant. Smells like Paper Whites to me.
    Thanks,
    Lori

Thanks, but not Star Jasmine. I know what that is. Look closely to the leaves. They are pinnate where the Jasmine's are simple. It is a twining vine with no adventitious roots or tendrils for support. Star Jasmine is a sprawling bush. Blooms only once a year, unlike Star Jasmine which blooms throughout the year. The flowers do look like the Jasmine but smell much different. Like Paper Whites not Jasmine.

Please disregard the last post. I didn't look up the botanical and was going by the common name you used. Sorry. It is J. polyanthum. Winter jasmine or pink jasmine.
    Thanx,
    Lori
