Hi All. I have a bunch of plants in my yard that I would like to know what they are so that I can take better care of them. Sorry for the number of plants, but I have a lot of plants and I only knew a few. There are still a bunch that I have yet to identify but these are enough for now. I really appreciate your time looking through them. It would really help if you can name the plant with a number according to the order of the pictures. Thanks in advance for any input.

#2 yellow flowered herb Lysimachia punctata/ garden or yellow loosestrife (Not the invasive Lysimachia terrestris which is taller.), The variegated leaf plant in #2, #3 and #4 looks like Aegopodium podagraria var. variegatum/Bishop's Weed, Goutweed, Goatweed. Very invasive, spreads by runners. Hard to control without a lot of work in my experience. Harry

    #1 looks like Hypericum frondosum
The variegated plant #3 may be Lysimachia punctata 'Alexannder' - rather than Bishop's Weed.
    #10 Nepeta

#8 is Viburnum dentatum (Arrowwood Viburnum).
#9 is also a viburnum, possibly V. carlesii.
#15 is Rhamnus sp. (Buckthorn), a weedy tree.

I am checking out buckthorn online, it sounds like a bad thing to have, I wonder if I should remove it. I wish I know about this just a week early, we had a landscaper doing work on our yard Monday, she didn't know what it was. Any suggestions? This is probably the wrong place for this question, right? Thanks.

The variegated one in pics #3 and 4 looks like pineapple mint, are the leaves scented? #15 is a Rosaceae, probably a Cotoneaster, buckthorn fruits look different.

No, I don't think it's scented, the long leaf plant right next to it in picture 3 has a nice scent, don't know whether it's a weed or not. The variegated one does look pretty much like the yellow loosestrife though. Thanks.

    Hi, All

I have more information about the tree in picture 11, the berries now covered with orange spiky hair, they make the whole tree look orange. Any idea what it might be? Thanks.

Thanks all. I will try to post photos of the fruit in #11 tree as soon as I can. I have a younger tree in my backyard with berries that's growing orange spiky hair now. The two trees are similar but the leaves are not exactly the same. I'm eager to find out what it is. Oh, #15 do look more like red chokeberry than buckthorn, i'll see for sure when the berries change to red in the winter.
