Attached are two photos of a succulent houseplant that I woudl like to id so that I can take care of it properly. It may be a cactus. The leaves are flat, with irregular edges AND irregular shapes. The leaves have wide areas and narrow areas and then these stringy, leggy things grow and are now 3 feet long. It is an unusual plant, maybe even a bit odd looking. Please help me identify so that I can keep it healthy.

Not sure what the plant is. Looks succulent, possibly cactus. I could only guess at care--bright light and very well drained soil.

I have reattached your photo as a jpeg file so that it opens directly in your post. People tend to avoid viewing photos if they have to open a file.

Some kind of epiphyllum, but it doesn't look too perky. You might have some problems there...

Yes, it is a cactus. Epiphyllum species are predominantly epiphytic, often tree-dwelling, and do best in warm, shady conditions and often require regular fertilizer. Some often refer these cacti as "jungle cacti" or "orchid cacti". They are prized for their spectacular flowers.
