    Hello!

I've had this plant for years and have never had any issues caring for it. We had a nasty, windy freeze this February which defoliated the plant and it's cutting. However, it's quite hardy and after cleaning it up - it's making a comeback along with a lot of completely new growth! However, the need to ID it became apparent when I didn't know what to do post-frost. Fortunately, it's soldiering on despite my ignorance. The first two photos are the plant in it's current state about 1.5 months from frost. The flower photo was from pre-frost to give an example of it's gorgeous flowers which grow on long stems in bunches. I hope the new growth is mature enough to be definitive as I do not have a better pre-frost picture of the leaves. Mature leaves are darker green, extremely cup-shaped and slightly thicker, almost succulent.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

My own attempts to ID definitely took me to the Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, but I couldn't find an example without serrated leaf edges that matched the flower. I guess this species has lots of different combinations of leaf structures and flowers! It definitely seems like the new growth shows some serrated edges, but the mature leaves are rounded and smooth.

    Thanks for the help!
