Please Help ID Colorado Mountain Wildflower

    Hi, My husband and brother came across these seed pods while out walking. Our elevation is about 8700 feet, if this helps. Thank you in advance for any help.

    Pinedrops, a saprophytic leafless flowering plant. Typical denizen of deep coniferous woods, along with Indian pipe, coralroot orchid etc. The flowers are yellowish down-facing urns, probably thought to resemble drops of pine sap.

    Thank You Ron B, your right on target. I did a google image search of "Pine Drops" and that is certainly it.
