Please help ID 2 Plants

The pink one growing at the edge of a pond and the white one in a swamp in Michigan. Can anyone ID?

Pink one looks to be a species of Persicaria.

 

Second one looks like swamp smartweed Persicaria amphibium (Polygonium amphibium)

 

Here's a closer look. Don't see it in the field guides.

 

First one meadow-sweet, Spiraea alba var. latifolia
