Last summer i bought a lilly for my wife,for a new plot in the garden. It was gorgeous plant,wife was well chuffed it had some lovely orange flowers on , it eventually died off over the winter period which i belive we cut it back to the soil has instructed on ticket. Spring time this year it started to come back and all summer it just got taller and taller we have been looking forward to it flowering again ,this last 2 weeks flowers have started appearing but not lillys???? We dont understand whats happened. Please can someone help
Your lily may not have survived. I don't see any lily in the photo. Your Phlox paniculata did survive and is blooming nicely.
