please confirm /correct the IDs

    Frequently sold Cordyline australis gets marketed as "Dracaena 'Spikes'" here, I may have seen it tagged "Dracaena Cordyline" as well. Although it is in the same genus as the first one shown here it produces a much narrower leaf.

    (Only Cordyline australis is correct for this other plant).

    On closer examination of the actual plant I could find that the second one is not in the same genus but as pointed out by the other responder ,it is Alpinia zerumbet 'variegata'

    I posted about cabbage palm because you used the combination Dracaena Cordyline that I think others may encounter in commerce.
