Two plants have plaques, the first one says R.ANTHOPOGON and the other one says GENIE. The deer chew on the red flowering one [Springtime] but they look like Azalia? Any ideas which ones or if those plaques are correct? The second is a small purplish groundcover with leaves about an inch long. The fourth is blueish flowering groundcover that is a small bush about 1 1/2 feet across. The last one is another little bush that blooms white. Also where can a person buy plaques like those or order them online? It would be nice to get some for some of the other plants. Thanks for your help!
Hello yesterdays the first one is Rhododendron anthopogon and here is a link to the American rhododendron society web page http://www.rhododendron.org/descriptionS_new.asp?ID=322 the genie is most probably an azalea hybrid of some sort often sold as genie magic the plaques are nothing special any trophy shop or engraver will be abel to make them up for you the second is ajuga reptans common Bugle weed http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/groundcover/ajuga_reptans.html no 3 may be lithodora but I am not sure of that hope this is of some help
