    Could an expert out here please help me identify these plants?

    The yellow DSC_1023.jpg one grows all over in Belize the creeping plant with the purple flower
    DSC_1190.jpg was found in a garden so may not be native to Belize. I can post higher resolution pictures if required. Thanks!

    The yellow one looks like some species of Abutilon to me.

    You are right. Lets see if someone can be more specific with the species name. Apparently this is a medicinal plant used by the Mayan people.
