The attached 2 photos were taken in Inverness in Scotland and I am hoping they can be found in Canada. Please assist with the identification. They both were small shrubs up to 3 feet tall. If I am posting in the wrong forum please advise. Thanks.
First is a Ceanothus, second is Buddleja globosa. They can be found in Canada, but only on the west coast (Vancouver area, etc.), they won't be hardy in Ontario. PS you're in the right forum ;-)
Thank you very much. Its a bit disappointing for a SW Ontarian. However both my children live in Vancouver and we are actually thinking of moving there sometime so who knows! Thanks.
