    Hello,

I have recently built a small pergola that I'm hoping will provide some privacy. I've planted Jasmine and Hops for summer/autumn greenery which are growing nicely (albeit slowly).

Can anyone recommend a vine I can plant now that will act as a screen next winter? My understanding is that both the Jasmine and Hops will loose their leaves in late fall.

The pergola is facing south-west and receives 6+ hours of afternoon sun in the summer months. I live in Victoria, BC.

    Thank you in advance.

    Ed
